This story doesn’t focus on any of the sisters, but one of their cousins. Aunt Aumaleigh finds about Annie and brings to the ranch for a job and to bring her into the fold. Annie, like the others has not had a good life, especially where men are concerned. Adam fell in love with Annie but before he got up the nerve to tell her she was “married” to a scoundrel. He helps Annie with her move and hopes to find a way to let her know that he loves her. I was glad to see the wedding of Verbena Zane but poor Daisy and Becket still aren’t married. I liked this story, but this series is about and aunt and her five nieces. My questions is if all six of their stories have not been told, why bring in another character. Is the point to draw out the story? I would rather read about these six characters before bringing in other people. That point aside, I’m enjoying the series and recommend it to any one that likes historical romance.
