Any book that can captivate my young nephew, age 5, has to be fantastic, and this one did. Like any youngster, my nephew could easily identify with Finn, who loves dressing up in costumes and looks out for new adventures. As we read the story together, my nephew wanted to join Finn in his super hero adventures and sort of did by listening, thinking about it and using his imagination. I think any youngster, boy or girl, will be enthralled with Finn, as he is just your normal, average youngster in an ordinary family, to whom anyone can relate. In this story, Finn discovers just how the life of a super hero is filled with good deeds and thoughts. I was quite glad the story did more than entertain my nephew. He learned that being a super hero has its responsibilities along with the glory. He and I are now eagerly awaiting the next installment of Finn and his love of costumes. It has always been a struggle getting my 4 year old to sit still through a book, but this one held his interest and he tried to read it himself. He loved the illustrations and the story entirely and was begging for more throughout the entire book! Thanks to Barry McDonald for the free copy, you have hooked my little reader! I find it a lovely book for children, because of the captivating story and nice illustrations.

Finn is a friendly boy who likes to dress up in superhero costumes and to visit his grandparents.
