BLUCY: THE BLUE CAT by Julia Dweck, Illustrated by Erika LeBarre is a delightful Children's Book/Rhyming Picture Book/Animals/Cats. Blucy is a troublesome,adopted cat who turns blue to blend into different surroundings,loves mischief and a very special cat indeed. Filled with vivid illustrations and a few fun games. I reviewed this title on my Kindle Fire and loved the vivid pictures! Mandy is the young girl who adopts Blucy. What a wonderful picture book for all ages. A must read! Received for an honest review from the author.

I just adored this story about the funny, trouble making cat, Blucy. Blucy gets into some shenanigans in this beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written story. The story flows so beautifully due the the poetic nature of the prose. Such a wonderful story to cuddle up with the kids and read. I truly think that Dweck has raised the bar in children's story telling. She has a distinct style that is a pleasure for both children and parents alike. She is not to be missed and her stories are top notch! 5 stars! ( )
