I have always enjoyed reading old issues of TIME and LIFE magazine for their sense of historic immediacy; I know of no other medium that brings history to life so well as these weekly magazines that reported the news as it happened, before the age of television, and that the average American family read so devotedly each week. Indeed, I collect LIFE magazines with that in mind. This is a collection of the most interesting letters to the editor from TIME Magazine, 1923 to 1984, organized by decade and subject matter. Writers include famous names as well as unknowns. The book is liberally illustrated from the magazines discussed in the letters. A must for the reader wishing to immerse himself in a sense of the times. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
