This little book (and I mean "little") is full of some of the most wonderful photograph of Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West that have ever been published. Many of them were published elsewhere ... soon after Ezra Stoller took them. Usually the published photographs were in gorgeous colour ... in large format magazines. After 60 plus years it is wonderful to finally have these photographs collected and bound together in one book.

Unfortunately the photos in this book are almost snapshot in size. On at least one occasion a single photograph is spread over two pages, which might have been an admirable solution to the problem if less of the photo weren't lost in the extremely tight binding. These important photos deserve better.

Fortunately I found and purchased a used copy of a Fortune Magazine from the 40's which contains several original colour photos from the collection. Comparing them with the miniature photos in this book demonstrates a lost opportunity.
