She has been dealt a crappy hand in the beginning of her adulthood, to say the least. When she has finally decided to take steps to finding herself again, she meets the famous Zack Walters. Her confusion of her feelings for him scare her. She can't seem to let go those she loved and lost. Learning to move on and live life again isn't as easy as many would think. She is full of longing and guilt. Her struggle is heart-wrenching and heart-warming at the same time. Zack has finally found someone who wants to spend time with him because of who he is on the inside instead of fame. He wants to figure out this wounded woman and win her heart like he has never wanted before. He is charming and loving. He will do anything to keep Nicole at his side. He wants nothing more than to have her open her heart to him. I was pulled in from the get-go. The emotions and heartbreak blew me away. This book is written so beautifully. I not only laughed, but I cried. I cried more times than I would like to admit. Some of it was sad, but some of it was just from being overwhelmed. Just when you think the book is over, you will realize you are only around half way through. When I hit this point, I couldn't figure out just what else could possibly keep the story going. Then I smiled and cried some more. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Nicole Parsons had the perfect life, made complete with the suburban home and the proverbial white picket fence. When tragedy struck and she lost the most important people in her life, she turned away from everything she loved before; shutting out every reminder of the perfect life she lost. It has been one year, three months, one week, and six days since the accident, and Nicole is ready to stop counting the days she's survived, and begin living again. On a dare from her best friend, Nicole encounters Zack Walters--the popular alternative rock star and man who signifies so much of her past--and suddenly, everything in Nicole's safe and quiet life changes. When she's forced to face the pain she's carried for so long, will she truly be able to heal from her past and begin to live again? Or, will her new adventure ruin her completely?
