I bought this to get background for Dr Fuller's novel The Rowan Tree which expands these theories of how to live a good life with dignity for all. Many reviewers of The Rowan Tree did not approve of the concepts, nor many of the characters, or their circumstances, behind the novel, Religion and Science: A Beautiful Friendship is an easy book to read and understand. I enjoyed it immensely and believe that I could recommend it to all but the most shuttered of my religious acquaintances. ( )
