I would say it is very similar to Matthew Reilly's Scarecrow series, and maybe even close to Boyd Morrison's Tyler Locke series. The action moves along at a fast pace, and even though our main characters seem to always have the luck of things on their side, it still kept my interest to read to the end. Lots of room to expand more on background history of the The Fifth Column and its' agents (good or bad). I see that there are two other novels int his series, so I am sure I will be checking out the next one soon!
