I am anxious to see what else she has done. This was good. It keeps you going thru the entire book. From victim to killer. Back and forth. And the love story thrown in really helps. It is creepy and scary. You wonder if they are going to catch him. Can you imagine being watched your entire life by a psycho. Very crazy. Do not want to give anything away but it is definitely worth reading !!! ( ) This is my first book by Lisa Regan, but it definitely won't be my last. I've been struggling to find a thriller that really captivates me and sucks me in for a few months, and this filled that void. I wasn't entirely sure I'd want to finish it at first, and I assumed it would be like every other thriller I've read, but it was so much more. I loved the way she handled every character. Kassidy is a strong, smart, funny, and dedicated to her job. I absolutely loved her, and I loved getting to know her throughout the book. I'm amazed at how well she handled everything that was thrown at her; she truly went through hell. As for the killer, he was possibly one of the best I've read about in a long time. I really liked that we got a look inside his head to see his motivation and thoughts. I'm usually pretty good at guessing the suspect's identity, but I was completely lost until it was revealed this time. There are plenty of twists and turns throughout this book that keep you on the edge of your seat wanting more. When special agent Kassidy Bishiop is brutally assaulted by a suspect she caught while undercover, who was released due to not receiving his Miranda rites, she has to concede that her life is probably over. Then something happens during the attack that she would never have expected, sending her life on a new path filled with love, laughter, and death. This book hits you over the head with a baseball bat right from the start, leaving you so dazed you have to continue tuning pages just to keep your wits about you. I would recommend this book to any one who likes mysteries, romance, and suspense. It was a wonderful read and I just couldn't put down. **I received an ARC in return for an honest review** When special agent Kassidy Bishiop is brutally assaulted by a suspect she caught while undercover, who was released due to not receiving his Miranda rites, she has to concede that her life is probably over. It was a wonderful read and I just couldn't put down. **I received an ARC in return for an honest review** excerpt from the blog My Home of books: What can I say--I loved this book! I am an eclectic reader who veers towards mystery, suspense, thrillers, romantic thrillers, and cozy mysteries. I just do and am not apologetic. This book gave me once of those delicious keep-turning-the-page experiences that I get only once in a while, and have learned to appreciate! Kassidy is a tough FBI agent who was once bound and tortured by an ex-con who slipped through the cracks. Somehow she overpowers him and escapes death and is promoted to the Behavioral Analysis Unit near D.C. I connected with Kassidy Bishop, her mentor TK, her parents, her dogs, her deceased twin sister--everyone; the characters felt real and I cared about what happened. I liked how she has a love interest in the story but doesn't fall into his arms unconditionally. (By the way, I loved the character of Aaron, but won't tell you who he is in relation to her because that would throw out a mild plot spoiler). Kassidy struggles with some memory loss due to her severe beating, but there is a thought in the back of her mind that she somehow knows this serial killer and has a personal connection to him. She and her colleagues use their knowledge of unsub behavior to attempt to stop this killer's rampage. Some suspense novels use page upon page of romantic escapades to fill the story, some use explicit violence to keep us glued. Ms. Regan uses an interesting storyline to entice her readers to keep turning the pages. I interviewed the author a while back, and she said that this was written as a stand-alone, but that fans were requesting a series. I, for one, would definitely ditto those fan requests. There is a bit of plotline still dangling at the end that can be stretched into a follow-up if Ms. Regan so desires. The story does have closure and satisfies, and there is also an unseen twist at the very end that made me say: aha! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

A woman is found dead, her body beaten post mortem. Stuffed into her mouth is a job application with the words "For You" scrawled across it. FBI profiler Kassidy Bishop is assigned to help find the killer. Despite being scarred by her twin sister's mysterious death fifteen years earlier, Kass is now a rising star in the Bureau's Behavior Analysis Unit. But as more victims turn up dead around the country-all with the serial killer's trademark message left at the scene-Kassidy is left with more questions than answers. The victims seem to have nothing in common, and the meticulous killer is as inconsistent as he is brutal. As Kass delves deeper into the mind of the killer, a shocking connection begins to emerge-one that is both personal, and deadly. Told from the alternating viewpoints of Kassidy and the For You Killer, Kill for You is an edge-of-your-seat, roller coaster ride of a thriller. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
