I liked that, even though they were zombies( I think?), they weren't the typical mindless ones. There was definitely some kind of shared memory going on, and they had a bit more intelligence and motivation than just wanting to eat people. The middle of the book had a lot of action which I found hard to follow, but I always find action hard to follow. Overall, I enjoyed this book. I liked that we were given the pieces of the mystery but that the main characters never figured everything out, so that the readers could put it together themselves.
