Jane switches from a private Catholic school to the public high school in the small town of Oshkosh, Wisconsin. She wants to be one of the cool kids. Once she meets the Transistors, a local garage band with a hot lead guitarist, her dull life turns into a thrill ride with the party crowd. Jane has a car. Lucy, who always needs a ride, is suddenly Jane's new best friend. Lucy's boyfriend just happens to be the hot lead guitarist. This makes for an interesting new friendship.Then things take an unexpected turn and Jane finds herself in a struggle with temptation.
