This is an informational book. This book describes all sorts of colors that monkeys can be. It describes the facial structures, and different bodily colors of many different monkeys, all illustrated well on the page. It also goes over gender coloration differences. At the end of the book, it describes more in-depth each of the monkeys mentioned in the book. I would use this book in a Kindergarten or 1st grade classroom if we were just beginning a study on the jungle, or monkeys. I might even use this book to do a review of colors in a Kindergarten classroom. ( )
