EducatingParents.org rating: Approved I checked this out from our library and it is such a favorite that I'm thinking of buying it- specifically my almost 4 year old son who loves sports loves it. In this story, Pinkalicious gets a pink soccer ball, is made fun of a bit, and gets over her nervous play by going around the world and seeing others girls play soccer and cheering her to "Think Pink", she returns to score the winning goal. Goldalicious, her imaginary unicorn friend, allows her to temporarily step away from the game (time freezes) and visit other parts of the world. The story is affirming, imaginative, encouraging athletics, and shows the ups and downs of sport play. Women around the world playing soccer have had to fight for this chance, and this book pays a little tribute to that. If your child likes Pinkalicious give this one a go. We also read Pinkalicious (the first one where she turns pink from pink cupcakes and I think she gets her name)- my kids were ready to return after a week. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
