In the early 1800’s Louisiana a beautiful white woman named Claudine ran an very popular brothel called Love Alley. She was in love with a black man named Baptiste and had his child but due to the times they could not let either be known. After an angry customer beats her because she constantly refuses him, she lay dying and her true love captures her soul in an amulet.

200 hundred years later Louis Beekman inherits a run-down Louisiana plantation. Needing the break he goes to Louisiana to restore it. On the flight there he has a wet dream on the plane of the most beautiful woman. As he is trying to work on the house he keeps running into odd things. Objects that dont stay where he puts them, the electricity never staying on, voices telling him things and then twins coming to him in a very real, tie him up, and get him off dream.

A strange old woman shows up one day and tells him he needs to call this woman on this card, that she is a Psychic and she can help him.

Cory Lavalle is a descendant of Claudine and also has the second sight. She is depressed with her job as a psychic and doesnt know what to do with her life.. As she sleeps that night she has a sex dream with a handsome man that has one blue eye and one grey.

After a humorous episode in the bathroom with his friendly ghosts Louis finally calls Cory for help even though he doesnt believe in psychics. When they meet he realizes she he the woman he dreampt about on the plane and she recognizes him from her dream from his eyes.

Cory can hear and feel the presences in the house and knows there is something she needs to do but they arent being real clear in there messages to her.

From here Cory and Louis start a hot affair while they try to figure out the secrets of Love Alley and what the ghost want.

Full disclosure: I have met Sahara Kelly and I absolutely adore her :)

WARNING: This book is a graphic, erotic romance. Don't read it if that isn't your cup of tea.

I greatly enjoyed this book. I found Louis and Cory to both be likeable and interesting. Honey was a trip but she was fun and was a nice counterpoint to Cory. I also really enjoyed Zulee's character. The setting on a New Orleans historic plantation was great and the detail was good without being overwhelming. I thought the paranormal aspect was done very well throughout the book as well. ( )
