I received this book as a "first reads" giveaway. It had such an appealing look to it when I first opened it, I immediately decided to read it gingerly, so that I could gift it to someone later. After a couple chapters, I decided I had to keep it for myself! It's visually attractive, feminine, and written in a style that feels like girlfriends sitting around having coffee together.

I loved the short breaks for giggles throughout the book of "You might be a Mommy if...", and the variation of "If You Give a Mouse a Cookie", which only a mom could truly appreciate.

This book covers a lot of territory in a small space, but in a way that is loving, understanding, and honors the wisdom of moms today! I would definitely buy this as a gift for Mother's Day... ( )

The book shares family stories, tasty recipes and insights or tricks learned from motherhood throughout the years. I thoroughly enjoyed reading through the stories and ideas these ladies had to share. This book would be a great gift for a new mother or one in the early years of parenting.
