This book is a fun and colorful way of teaching students about the vocabulary used in perimeter, area, and volume. I liked how the author used monsters as their examples of the different formulas. This would be a book great for the lower grades when they are getting into shapes. ( )

This book is a great way to introduce students to a new concept like measuring dimensions. You can use this book in a 3rd to 5th-grade class. The illustrations are fun, however, they cover the lesson for the students. The author has many books not only for math but for other content areas that are worth looking into. ( )

This picture book uses monsters as a reference to illustrate how perimeter, area, and volume are used in certain scenarios. This fun concept is a good way to engage students in the classroom to help with comprehension of the terminology used. Overall this book would be very beneficial to students in a math classroom to better understand what perimeter, area, and volume is and how it is used. ( )
