See book 3 in the series It reads a lot like many that are currently haunting the shelves but it's written in 1992 so it does predate a lot of the current wave of werewolf books. This is an interesting twist on the Werewolf story, in this the werewolves have to kill but some of them try to only kill those who deserve to die. Set in New Orleans, Sylvie Marley is drawn to this world, a world her father rejected many years ago, one of very few who have. I liked the read, it was light and the concept was quite interesting and well written. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Pertenece a las seriesHunter's Moon Trilogy (book 1)
The Werewolf's Kiss is the first book in The Werewolf Trilogy, a ground-breaking trilogy that follows the history of a clan of werewolves centered around New Orleans. This is the story of Sylvie Marley, a rare creature drawn to the Moon and the night with the urge to run wild in the bayous. She is also in love with the young, handsome werewolf Lucien Drago, son of the Duchess de Marais. She too could be a werewolf if she chose, called as she is by the spirit of the Moon and the family's werewolf curse. Although her father, Andrew Marley managed to lift the curse, Sylvie still has the choice between the life she craves as a werewolf and the life of a normal young woman. However, that choice may be taken from her by a madman seeking power as the new king of the Voodoos. To prove himself, he intends to force Sylvie to become a werewolf with his magic, thereby sealing her fate, and her life, unless he is stopped. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
