Posing as newlyweds in Bradley's house where he lived with his wife, Mary, Ian, Rosie, and Stanley (who posed as grandparents), they hoped to figure out who murdered Jeannine and what happened to her baby. Jeannine has blocked most of it from her mind, but Ian is able to hypnotize her when Mary allows her to take over her body. The 'possession' plays a crucial role when the murderer abducts Mary who he thinks is pregnant.
