Summary: I read the poem called Summer's here out of this book. This poem is about, well summer is finally here school is out and that the kids have grown and learned a lot over the past year but their all ready for summer, summer vacation from school. Three month vacation. They will remember all their friends and keep them in their hearts.

My response: I love this poem, I love summer vacation it is the best part of the year. You don't have to worry about school for a whole three months. I can relate because yes I will miss my friends over the summer but know I will see them in three months. (
