Beyond the River

By Alex Miller . Caroline Miller, illustrator
My Review

Through this story, your children are encouraged to realize the potential within themselves. Chasing dreams and exploring life's questions are great adventures that lead to wonderful and surprising answers. This book is a great read for children from three to eight years old.

This book of brightly colored illustrations and whimsical rhymes makes the perfect gift for anyone setting out on a new adventure. This is inspired good fun, sure to please everyone. The illustrations in this book bring alive this nice story. We couldn't stop reading it the minute we began.

I read the book to my 3 y/o Granddaughter, and she asked to hear it again and again. That's indicating to me that it is a good story! I enjoyed my Granddaughter's reactions. Although the idea is not new, kids enjoyed it. It is written in a simple way and clear message. Easy for little kids to get it. This is a funny story talking about adventure and courage and brings up a smile face on the kids.

I was given this book from Schiffer Publishing. www.schifferbooks.com ( )
