Each time, I try to read these slowly, and each time I hit a point where I need to finish! Vic learns quite a lot about what he can do. He learns quite a lot, period. Where less accomplished writers might have failed to convey what occurs, Price just leaves me hungry for more. So, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go buy the next book now. :) ( )

Another great installment, with creepy astral projection shenanigans and a pretty well-crafted mystery that kept me guessing till the end. I’m ready to get back to this awesome series! I missed Vic (and his dry humor) so much! ( )

This is one series that you can be totally lost with if you don't start at the beginning and sometimes you may still feel a bit lost. Each story builds on the previous ones, and the characters grow and mature, unlike many series where each installment is interchangeable, and the characters just never change for good or bad. The two main characters, Vic and Jacob are partners at work and partners in their private lives. This story seemed to be a little subdued when compared to the tone of other books in the series. There's less light sarcasm and more true bitterness. There's definitely humor in this book, but I didn't laugh nearly as often with this one as I did while reading earlier ones. Unlike with the previous stories, this one doesn't so much end on a high note. It doesn't have a bad ending, but I wasn't as happy when I finished it. Jordan Price writes very well, but for some reason this one just fell a little short for me when compared to the earlier stories in the series. Victor seemed to be less happy, not just because of complications resulting from his ability, but also because his and Jacob's relationship isn't in a particularly smooth place. I sincerely hope things improve for them in future books. ( )

I love the relationship Vic and Jacob have. It's not overly lovey-dovey, but it doesn't need to be. This one pushes Vic to discover his limits and how to deal with someone he really does not like. I do hope that Dreyfus gets some karmic payback one of these days, he's so sleazy. ( )

Damn! this series keeps getting better and better.

-Vic is my one of my favorite characters. His snarky, sarcastic, self-deprecating humor is sooo good.

-The writing was good as usual, the mystery was so-so, but i still i liked it.

- Vic and Jacob got major chemistry going on and i enjoyed their interaction, though their communication sucks sometimes.

- The Ghost Tv and astral thing was creepy.

- Vic topping Jacob was hot and hilarious at the same time.

- I can't believe there was only one sex scene, i realized that when the book ended, i was so caught up in the story that i forgot about the sex.. I will let that go without a rant this time.



-Overall I enjoyed it! and was entertained for 12 hours. ( )
