In Essence ...

This is a CD & book package - a first-of-its kind user friendly tool - a potential powerful means of personal life enhancement to facilitate the user's vibrations to a better - feeling place in four basic areas: The General Well-Being, Financial Abundance, Physical Well- Being and Relationships. This process allow your breathing pattern to gently but align but naturally relax, getting into a better feeling place - the Vortex - without resistance but in a state of allowance; mean you are coming closer & closer to vibrational -alignment with who-you-really-are.- is already in the Vortex.

The CD contains four meditations, one on general well-being, one on financial abundance, one on physical well-being, and one on relationships.

It is advised just to hear 15 minutes of the CD every day.

A little book accompanies the CD, and Esther and Jerry, or Abraham, recommend that we read the book before hearing the CD, so as to find out how best to use the meditations.

For the CD to have the required result, that is, perfect abundance and health, we need to focus on breathing deeply in time to the music.

Unfortunately, this spoiled the whole thing for me, for so far I have not managed to breathe deeply as required. And if I try to align my breathing with the music, I get all confused, and can hardly breathe at all! I have worked with this CD for about six months, though it feels like a year, so it is not for want of trying that I can't get it right.

In fact the problem probably lies in the fact that we are not supposed to try at all, just relax and breathe (deeply!). We are told we don't need to concentrate, but I for one can't breathe deeply without concentrating. And they say it is vital to breathe deeply. For me there is thus an unresolvable conflict in Abraham's exhortations. And if I just relax and breathe normally, I fall asleep immediately.

As regards the results of listening to the meditations day in and day out, nothing has changed as regards my abundance or health, despite the constant statements on the CD that everything will now change for the better. I will here point out that I'm in no way saying that nobody will experience improvement in their affairs, only that I didn't. But then I didn't get the breathing right.

Another thing is, I don't feel this Vortex thing - I don't feel any better when listening to the CD, as they state one will. I am generally in very good humour, so there isn't much room for improvement, and I think the frustration with the breathing problems makes me feel worse, if anything.

Neither do I feel "the appreciation that Source feels" for me - how would I feel that? I don't really understand how, but then again they say that this is felt when relaxing and breathing deeply, which two things I can't do at the same time.

But I appreciate most of what they say on the CD. My favourite quote is re relationships: "As you insist on looking for positive aspects in others, in time only positive aspects can be shown to you." I remind myself of this several times a day.

Apart from the CD, you get a little book that you really need to read before listening to the CD (so you can learn about the importance of breathing deeply). It contains useful reiterations of Abraham's message.

We are reminded, for instance, that we should be "easy about our life", as we allow "wonderful things to flow naturally" to us. We should stop trying to make things happen (so I should just stop trying to breathe deeply, perhaps). We simply need to relax and breathe, smile and allow. It has always been our struggle, concern and attempt at impossible control that has been holding wanted things from us. Our true power lies in non-struggle.

One of their basic precepts is: "Feel good for the sake of feeling good, and everything else will take care of itself."

My final word is, if you love or appreciate Abraham and are good at deep breathing, then I would highly recommend this CD + book. ( )
