And then the villain creates an island fortress in the middle of the Persian Gulf. It's not improbably that he has (or rather, they have) a hairless kitty and a death ray.
It's a shame, too, because Max could have been a somewhat interesting character. I liked the revelation that he was actually a pair of twins, and I like the idea of a rogue agent who takes his mission more seriously than his bosses would like. Unfortunately, I just could not get past the idea of someone being able to predict that an earthquake would somehow create a new island within the course of a day.
Stupid, stupid, stupid. What a waste. ( )
