Summary: This little light bulb in this firehouse has been lit for hundreds of years. It has seen transportation changed from horse carriages to automobiles, like today's fire trucks and the light bulb has seen fire fought by bucket of water to actual water hose. Even through all these changes and many years the light bulb still shines brightly in that firehouse. Personal reaction: This story is cute and I believe it means it talks about staying strong when it comes to change. I recently have many changes going on such as a new baby and having my own family. Classroom ideas: I would always asks questions about a book before I read to them. Such as for this one, What do you think this book is about?
