This store is located on the first floor of the Birmingham Public Library main branch. The store is staffed by volunteers, and proceeds from sales benefit the library. Coffee and snacks are for sale.

Part of the store is devoted to collectible and art books.

They keep a cart (or two) of $1 books just outside the bookstore door, under the service window. They also have three free standing "display units" out on the floor outside the store. So be sure to check those.

They have a pretty high turnover of stock. All of the new stuff is to the left of the bulletin board that is facing you as you walk in.
