- Steimatzky is Israel's leading bookstore chain, and accordingly carry mostly best sellers and books for the mainstream or mass market. Their service is okay, you can order books, but you won't find treasures in a Steimatzky store because the turnover is so fast, and they bring in the hottest new books all the time. So for city dwellers, there are better options than Steimatzky.
Nevertheless, I can recommend the store at M-ha-Derech at Yannai interchange just before your reach Tel Aviv from the North. They have a good collection of English books, art books and competent staff. I never leave the store with empty-handed. - Añadido Por
