- The Rideau Heights Community Centre opened 21 April 2018 with gymnasium, kitchen, hall, meeting rooms and a 5500 sq. ft. public library branch, as annex to Rideau Heights Public School. The branch is laid out with many open spaces and a relatively small printed book collection, displayed in topic sections ("Fiction", "Self-Help", "Mystery"...) designed to look and feel more like a small bookstore than a public library. Child and teen-friendly. Open 10AM-8PM Mo+We, 9AM-5PM Fr+Sa. This is nominally a replacement for KPL's Kingscourt branch, which opened in 1959 and permanently closed Sept 16, 2017.
