Hey, have you all heard about the new TV Vampire Series True Blood on HBO? They just aired the first episode last Sunday at 9PM on HBO. I didn't get a chance to see it however it is being repeated later on this week on HBO. I'll like to know what everyone thinks about it whenever you can get a chance to see it.

I watched the first episode, and liked it. This series is based on the Southern Vampire Mystery series by Charlaine Harris. I have read every book and hoped that HBO would do a good job with it and they have. Of course being HBO sex had more emphasis than anything Harris wrote.
The setting is a small town in Louisiana. The main character is a waitress named Sookie Stackhouse. Some locals think she's a bit strange. That's because she can read other people's minds. Then one day a vampire walks into the bar, and she's delighted that his mind is a closed book, so to speak. It doesn't hurt that he's a hunk.
Haven't seen the second episode, but did record it.
