Samuel Alito flew an upside-down flag on his yard—a symbol that has been adopted by MAGA to dispute the legitimacy of Biden’s electoral victory in 2020—while he was deciding election-related cases in January of 2021. Get this disgrace off our highest court and the bench.

And for a Supreme Court justice and I will say, my opinion only, but the guy most likely to have had something to do with the leaking of the Dobbs decision, leaking it to the Wall Street Journal or somebody connected to him, leaking it to the Wall Street Journal because he wanted to keep Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett frozen in place. I think history will show that. But that aside, for a guy who is a Supreme Court justice that let that happen at his own home in one of the most fraught times in American history since the Civil War is just… It’s just sad. And it shows how little respect he has for the institution. It shows how little respect he has for the law. It really… It’s disgusting. It’s just disgusting.

“I have long said that Supreme Court Justices, their spouses, and their families should conduct themselves in all ways and at all times such that they are beyond reproach. The honor of serving the nation on the Supreme Court requires nothing less than this,
if the Court is to earn the respect of the American People that is indispensable to the public’s acceptance of the Court’s judgments. It is the responsibility of the Supreme Court to earn the respect of the American People, not vice versa.”

The Alitos sound like the neighbors from hell, don't they? Some wives of men with "important" jobs are more pompous than hubbies, seems like... ("Important" is relative...)

Just published: Mrs. Alito's conflict with her neighbors in Virginia escalated so much that the neighbors called the police.
