You wake up and it's a day like any other, except you have been transported to this magical realm. You go to a mirror and gasp, you are no longer you. You are now a character you made while playing a fantasy video game forever ago. This world has many secrets, will you be able to unlock them? Will you find friends or make enemies? Of course, it had to be an elf.
And, despite the other being unable to see his disgust, they could certainly hear it in his tone as he, his posture stiffening once more, placed a gloved hand upon his hip- right above where his sword laid.
"Hunting, of course." Replied he with simplicity, "Why else would I be here?"
He never implied as to what he was hunting. And he'd always liked to keep his business that way- clarified to those who desired clarification, and yet, oddly vague all the same.

The elf replied with like disgust, "Ah, hunting I see. Surely you wouldn't be hunting without any food? Don't you know what happens to any race besides elves in the woods? And anyways, you aren't allowed to hunt in these woods. Seeing as you are royalty you'd know that from the treaty."

He knew well, how very obvious his regality was. Though, it brought him great amusement, knowing that nobody could ever seem to guess from what kingdom he hailed- nor did they often guess his rank in the royal family.
"Not even if I am starving, my good fellow? Surely you, as a /reasonable/ creature of man, would allow he who is on the brink of starvation a meal, to preserve his health?"
Rune, whose gray eyes sparkled with amuse, dark hair spilling over his shoulders and framing his almost feminine, porcelain-skinned face, shrugged his shoulders.
"I suppose I should have expected this," A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips, "...from an elf."

okay I have to go anyways. Might be on later tonight)) The elf looked at him blandly, almost bored in fact, "I'm no idiot, King of Darkness." The elf looked at him with shocking blue and violet eyes, "And I never denied you a meal, I am however tempted to not give you any meat." The elf looked thoughtful, "But I'm in a good mood today so I will spare you some food. Also, I do not appreciate your hate of elves."

>56 Shadowheart1253: The King paused momentarily, surprised by the other's realization. But, he decided not to let it show- life was much simpler, in Rune's opinion, when fleeting feeling and expression got in the way of one's interactions.
"...And I care not, for the appreciation of an elf." Replied he simply, slipping off a silken ribbon that had been tied around his wrist, and placing it in between his teeth, gathering his ebony hair with his hands.
With the ribbon still in mouth, he let out a scoff, speaking through his teeth, "You would need not give me meat, if you would simply let me hunt something myself. It is not as if I could hunt every creature in this forest, as nothing but a singular, /weakened/ man, whose only powerful weapon beside a sword is his sharp tongue, could I?"
Finally tying the ribbon about his hair in a ponytail, the king dusted off his gloved hands, resting one upon his hip once more, and the other over the reigns of his steed, one angular brow raised.
"Well, then, o /noble/ elf? Are you going to direct me to some source of nourishment, or leave me, /helpless/ in the midst of this-" A loose chuckle escaped his glossy lips, "-/terrifying/ forest?"
Rune had a habit, of underwhelming the opponent with his words. Despite his ripe age of twenty-six, he played the act of a pitifully frail man, with little ability or will- perhaps to gather the little amusement he could, or perhaps to, truly, underwhelm another.

I cared!)) The elf likewise took off his own helm, revealing short blonde hair, purple skin, and cyanish violet eyes. "The creatures in this forest are protected by magic that only elves know how to bypass," he smiled slightly, "I will lend you some of my food if you would be so /kind/ as to follow me."

Although we are in your kingdom, I am not entirely devoid of influence, elf." Leading his horse by its reigns with something of a sour expression, Rune followed the man. He'd lied about starving- though it would be unusual, to back out on his alibi now.

The elf smirked slightly as he led the man through the woods for a few minutes, eventually coming upon a well sheltered camp. "We are here now human," The elf said, "You may tie your horse over there." he said motioning vaguely

Rune glanced in the direction the other had pointed in with narrowed eyes, before sighing, and tying his horse about the area. "Very well." The King then looked over his shoulder towards the elf, head cocked slightly to the side.
"You are quite peculiar, I must admit. If this is a part of your plan to slaughter me in a place of comfort, I assure you, I am never comfortable, regardless of hospitality or guardedness."

The elf laughed, "I have no plan to kill you," the elf smiled, "Now please, sit down and eat." He gave the king a spit of mutton, "I'll even take the first bite if you don't trust me."

"It is," The elf said, "It warms my cold heart to find someone who apprieciates my cooking." The elf paused slightly, "If you don't mind my inquiry, what /are/ you doing here?"

What strange conditions you elves live in- But dare not mistake my curiosity for pity!"

"There be not a woman that has caught my eye." he sighed, "No aquaintences either. And trust me, these are not the conditions I have chosen."

Do not mistake these for hobbies. A hobby of mine may be disembodying those I find dislike in, but an enjoying may very well be a walk in the moonlight. The two are incredibly different happenings, are they not?"

"YAYYYYYY-" She squealed like a child and sprang up from where she sat on her bed. "I'LL GO GET MY SWORD" She said, running out the door.

Darkness laughed as she left, running to his own quaters and grabbed his daggers

She went and fetched her sword, not paying attention to people yelling at her to stop running through the halls. She sprinted back to her room and waited in the doorway for Darkness, practically bouncing up and down with excitement. It had been WEEKS since she had gotten to see blood of any kind.

Darkness appeared around the corner, his daggers in hand. The daggers were made from a purple and redish metal.

"Ooooh, those look cool." She commented.

"Thanks! I have a dwarven friend, named Vodrek, who made these."
