An affordable little pleasure is this Doctor Faust puppet play with woodcuts by Fritz Kredel, published in two editions by the Bauersche Giesserei, Frankfurt am Main in 1950 - one hand coloured on better paper and one in black and white.

An American edition (in black and white) was printed by Victor Hammer in 1953.

Very nice. I have the American edition. This is the first time I've seen the German edition with the hand colored woodcuts.

Very nice, if only I could read German.
