Good Housekeeping Magazine short novels, stories 1980-91

I am looking for a short story about a Victorian/Edwardian romance novel set in London and Yorkshire, England. It contains a married couple named Leonie and Etienne, (Leonora and Steven) who have some issues, the wife (Leonie) moves from Town and goes to the dilapidated country manor in Yorkshire, refurbishes it, the husband follows her and they reconcile. That is all I can remember, it's been ages since I had the actual magazine copy. If anyone has insight on what/who this could be, please feel free to let me know. I remember magazine covers vividly, and have ordered copies off Ebay. I was lucky enough to find two other short novels that I remembered based on the covers. This is the last 'missing' one on my list. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
