Any thoughts on the first section? Has the first section hooked you? Why? Why not?

I found this section very interesting - I like the introduction of Annabelle and her crew. It seems a bit disjointed with the multiple storylines but I think it will come together fairly quickly

I liked the workings of Annabelle and her two partners. The things they pulled off were slick to say the least. Maybe I should make some notes and hit the casino:) i think you have to be willing to play more than penny or quarter slot machines and that would let me out right there.

I was in from the first page. Totally confused as to how all the threads are going to join up, however.

I thought every chapter was interesting. We are being introduced to several plotlines so things are confusing now.

I was hooked somewhere in chapter one when Seagrave mentioned that he had killed for his government many times but this time it was for himself. I really want to know what makes this killing so different for him.

Yes fully engaging from the first page. So many strands so not sure where it is heading yet. Surprised how long it was before The Camel Club appeared.
