Trying to find a book

Hello.
I am looking for the name or author of a book that I read a few years ago. I’m pretty sure it was a kindle unlimited novel because I read it a few times. I believe the story line was a woman went to work as a cook or housekeeper for a rancher. I believe she had a brother that she would bail out of trouble from time to time. At one point the ranchers neighbor breaks in and attacks her because he wants to buy the ranchers land.
