Help! Searching for title of vintage (now I feel old) contemporary Harlequin (maybe Harlequin/S. Desire) maye 90's?

Here is what I remember about the plot. A woman (who is now a psychiatrist or psychologist) has a dangerous former patient out for revenge. This brings her ex back into contact with her. He is lawman (secret agent, cop or some type of investigator) He hates her now and doesn't know that she lost their baby (miscarriage or young child) but figures it out when he follows her to the cemetery and she is visiting the child's grave. Can't remember much more but I have searched for it for years, and can't find the description in the myriad of author's backlists I have checked. I have always read a TON of Silhouette Desires, Harlequins and similar romances over the years, I think I read this one in the 90's.
