Still not too sure about this. It may have been the Earlsacre family coat of arms, but this would be an unusual logo to wear on a t-shirt. The foreign writing most probably the Latin motto.

It was probably the Earlsacre family coat of arms and the victim may be related to the family and the killer didn't want that info exposed so he took the t-shirt.

I don't know what the reason could be. A t-shirt could have had the Earlsacre coat of arms, but what would that really prove. You need actual proof before you can claim an estate.

My way of thinking was that if it was the Earlsacre coat of arms (still seems an unusual thing to be) then it might prompt the police to look in that direction. Not proof of anything, but a line of enquiry to follow up on.
The killer might get rid of it for that reason.
Otherwise, I'm lost as to what it might be.

Lets see...can I get a t-shirt with Buckingham Palace? I'll be right over with my shirt. The Queen can stay because she has cute dogs...but the rest may have to relocate:) John Jones may have had the shirt made to tease someone with his intent to place a claim on the property...or it may have no relevance at all.
