Thought perhaps he was entertaining a lady friend when his killers showed up. Otherwise I don't see the significance. Could has lady friend have been Jo???

I thinking that it was Jo too.

I can't picture Jo in those panties (nor do I want to).

>4 Olivermagnus: lol! I don't believe Jo was involved in a relationship with Chalmers. I just can't see it.

>1 Andrew-theQM: All I can come up with is an attempt to get rid of evidence - blood or DNA.

>4 Olivermagnus: You do have a valid point there. Maybe the panties belonged to Chalmers. Now that is a picture that no one would want to think about much less see:)

Seems Chalmers was washing up after having a guest. I wonder where she is - was she gone by the time the killers/abductors came for Chalmers? Are both of the cars in the garage his or does one belong to the woman?

I think the washing was done by the murderer to get rid of evidence.

Could the woman be involved in the murders and shoved the sheets in the wash to get rid of evidence?

I think the murderer put the sheets in the washer.
