In chapter 5 the man told Ricky "you were suppose to die here. I was supposed to do whatever I wanted and then kill you.". Did Ricky's father sell him to this monster? Does the man work for a group that specializes in child slavery? Who told the man to do whatever he wanted and then kill Ricky?
