Was it wise for Robert to go and talk to D-King? Are you surprised how easy he got in and that D-King would talk to him?

Good to see this character make a comeback in the series. The pair made an unusual cooperative team in the first book.
I'm not surprised that D-King remembered Hunter after all this time and was prepared to see him - he was presumably intrigued as to why Hunter was calling on him at his home.

Yes, D-King owes him one and may give him insight into the homemade bomb. I also like his character and am glad he's back.

D-King knows that Robert saved his butt when he didn't have to. He owes him and he knows it. Actually I believe he likes and respects Robert.

Robert is using whatever sources he has available....even if it's a gangster/pimp. I wasn't surprised that D-King let him in that easily - as he said, he owed Robert and, despite being a scumbag, he does seem to have a set of principals.

He added an interesting element to the story. I don't think the ki!lings are gang related but there's something that D King will be able to provide Robert.

I think D-King will be very useful to Robert.

I thought it was a strange decision to seek him out and surprised he got in so easily, even given what had happened before.

I like to see him back. Not sure how yet, but I'm sure he'll be helpful.
