Did you agree with Cotton that the plane was headed for the Eiffel Tower? If not, where did you think it was headed?

Had to agree with that reasoning. The story had been headed in that direction from the time the club members arrived.

I'm not sure where Malone got this insight from... All signs were that the intended objective was the Invalides - that's what Larocque had planned - nobody knew (not even us readers) that Ashby had contracted Lyon for something else.

I didn't follow his reasoning but it was very dramatic. I don't think I would have thought of the flight change if it hadn't been for the locked doors.

I think Cotton figured that there were a few planes and at least one was sure to head to the tower.

We had the feeling it was headed for the Tower because of everything going on in the story, but not sure how Cotton knew this.

I agreed - especially with the trinkets that Lyon had left behind the night before. The fact that Lyon gave them warning and that the diversions were not deadly, make me wonder about him...maybe Lyon is more than he appears.

I had started to suspect the plane was heading toward the Eiffel Tower but hadn't picked up on Lyon's clue.
