Did you think they would target McLean's gran's house during the funeral?

Yes, I was sure that Esther McLean home would be burglarized.

It would be in keeping with their other activities.

I am expecting this.

Like all of you I am expecting this. Do we think she could have been one of the six people involved in the killing?

I didn't (and still don't) have Esther down as one of the suspects - for some reason I have them all down as males.

>6 Sergeirocks: I'm not convinced she was involved either, but what about the man from the photo, or her husband?

>7 Andrew-theQM: Yes, I suspect the strange man (not her husband).

I definitely don't suspect her involvement but I feel like her home will be burglarized. I can't remember if she has the same alarm company and I'm too lazy to check.

totally convinced that the home will be burglarized. there was such a big deal made of the fact that there was going to be the services and the obituary -- Jonas mentioned it multiple times

I'm pretty sure there will be a burglary. And somehow it relates to the other "grandfather".

>10 bhabeck: that's my reasoning too, they've mentioned it too many times for it not to be significant.

The robberies don't have anything to do with the murders though, at least not yet, right? Or am I missing something? So, her house can be burgled and that wouldn't mean she's one of the 6, the first burglary we hear about was a woman's house her nephew (I think) reported.

>12 Jen_Bartels: I've just assumed the burglaries are tied to the murders, but I believe you are correct-I don't recall reading anything that links the crimes (other than Tony working all the cases).

Yes, I'm expecting grandma's house to get hit. However, if it happens then I don't think the burglar is tied to the murders. If the burglar is targeting these people specifically, why bother waiting for the funeral? The house has been empty for 18 months and no possibility of grandma was ever returning to the house in the future.

I think that there are more burglaries than actual murder victims - maybe they aren't directly related (after all, I don't think Grandma would be part of that ritual murder) but I think that the people that are being killed are then being burgled so things may show up in the loot.
