Did you think it right that patient rooms in the Clinic were considered public spaces during the day?

I don't think they should be considered 'public' spaces, but I can see why the institutions medical staff (only) should require access to patients' rooms at any time.

I agree too. The medical staff needs to be able to access the patients at all times.

They maybe need to access them but certain protections need to be put in place to ensure abuse isn't happening.

The problem is that word 'public', it means anybody can just walk in: including other inmates and non-medical staff. I don't think Barry's a nurse, but I can't remember for certain.

>8 Sergeirocks: Nothing indicated he was a nurse.

Barry's not a nurse, he's a "helper" that dispenses medications and cleans up. Mainly he's a creep. He doesn't need a certificate or a degree to hold that position. The rooms should be open to medical staff but certainly not to any Tom, Dick, and Harry and in this case Barry.

The issue is that Barry is a helper. Being on staff gives him rights that he abuses. A middle ground could be that the staff is only allowed into the private space of a room in pairs. That would reduce the potential for abuse. On the other hand if a person were in danger, this would not be terribly practical...
