How to Describe a Book

Suppose I want to write a description of a book in my LT collection that is comparable to a good description written by a used book seller. Any tips on how to do that well? So far, I've found the IOBA Book Terminology Page, the ILAB Glossary Page, and this page on How to Describe a Book.
