Anyone know where I can get a copy of this pattern? I have searched the internet and cannot locate. Thanks

You might try e-Bay. Use "patons" as one of your key words, and try the title of the item rather than the number.

You might also check on ravelry.com and see if anyone has one they're willing to trade or sell. One of the main boards is devoted to patterns and has an ISO (In Search Of…) thread that might be of some use. The pattern notes in their database indicate that 500840 is a book of patterns and is out of print, so it'll have to be something like that: a swap, ebay, or something you can pick up from a pattern library somewhere. It's probably not old enough for etsy's vintage section, but I think they changed some rules about what can be sold on the site recently so it might be worth a check there as well.
