I just found a neat independent bookstore in Cumberland Maryland. It's called The Book Center and it's downtown at 15 Center Street. They sell both used and new books. They are also an official off-site adoption center for the Allegheny County Animal Shelter, helping to place kittens. So there are these adorable kittens in the store, as well as the house cat, Alice, and all these wonderful books.
