My husband said to me, "your boyfriend is in the freezer." Whaaaa? And there was Stephen on the Ben & Jerry's. I haven't tasted it yet, but could anything be cooler than having your own ice cream flavor?

I've seen that flavor. (Still see "Vermonty Python" too.) I thought it was good, but you may not have as much of a sweet tooth as I do.

oooh... what, exactly, is the flavor? i love ben & jerry's, but some of their flavors are a bit much for me.

I tried Americone Dream at a friend's house - it was overwhelmingly sweet. I love Mr. Colbert, but I don't think I can handle his ice cream.

Hey, like I said, I have a sweet tooth.

It's pretty yummy. It's sweet cream ice cream with chocoloate-covered waffle cones and caramel swirl.

My husband was devastated to learn that they won't be selling Americone Dream up here in Canada.

Until he discovered that Haagen-Dazs has a new ice cream flavour called "Sticky Toffee Pudding", which does taste very much like the classic British dessert. It's probably oversweet for anyone who doesn't know and love the real thing, but for an expatriate Brit... heaven.

So my guess is that we could handle Americone Dream's sugar content just fine, thank you very much ;-)
