The Hunter Brown series by the Miller Brothers (Christopher & Allan). I have only read the first book, but I enjoyed it very much and look forward to reading the second book before too long. The third book is either out already or will be soon.

I also enjoyed Peretti's Cooper Kids and Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia (I read both of these quite a bit when I was younger).

One of my favourite series is The Castaways of the Flying Dutchman by Brian Jacques. The series doesn't really have a name, but that's the first book. :) I love the Chronicles of Narnia! Have you seen the movies? The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe was really good, but I think they ruined Prince Caspian. I didn't like the love story with Prince Caspian and Susan. The Voyage of the Dawn Treader was good, but it's not true to the book.
