As you may have seen, LT now recommends groups, based on what books you have in common with group members. You can see this feature by clicking the tab for the Groups page. It does not exclude groups you have already joined.

It is interesting to see what groups LT thinks you might find interesting. Mine include groups about language / languages, paganism and druidry. Perhaps not surprising as I only put my Gaelic and related books on LT.

The really good thing is that this feature will automatically advertise the existence of this group to most people who have some Gaelic books, so hopefully we will get some new members.

Any surprises in your recommendations?
Would you personally recommend any other groups of which you are a member?

I'm going to use this thread for Librarything related posts.

If you look on the blog (find the link at the bottom of the home page) you'll find a book spine poem contest. The idea is the same as in the thread "25 things to do with a Gaelic book, not including read it", so, you saw it here first! Make a poem out of book titles, pile them up and submit a photo, as described in the LT blog. I have submitted one of my Gaelic ones, as I had a photo handy, and I may do a couple more. Of course, LT's version is easy-peasy because it doesn't have to be in Gaelic - any language welcome.

I think it would be nice to have some Gaelic ones - always take any opportunity to raise our profile is my motto.

If you enter this competition (whether in Gaelic, English or any other language), do let us know on this thread!
