You can tell which books are mine and which are my husbands. Mine? Novels, classics, music history and biographies. His? Health, Eastern philosophy, manga, sci-fi. It's a nice mix and it's been nice branching out from my comfort zone.

I have no rhyme or reason to rating my books although I wish I did, and I may come up with some sort of system as I go. Mainly I go by my gut reaction, although I admit that after thinking about it and reading others commentary and reviews I may change the rating thinking "gee, that really did suck" or "hmmm, I hadn't thought of that deeper meaning, maybe I ought to reconsider." Fickle, I know.

I am in my early thirties and married (no kids). I went to college at a music conservatory for flute performance, hence the "flooter." I daylight as an office drone now. I like swimming, biking, running, eating vegetables and drinking chocolate milk. I want to get a tattoo of Harriet the Spy, but I'm too chicken. I prefer the city to the suburbs. I prefer the country to the city. I currently live in the suburbs and this defines my life way too much. I daydream of having a huge library with a Steinway grand piano.
