Because of the book group, I mostly read world literature and political nonfiction.

Most relevant to LibraryThing is that I started the Booker Tea Reading Group, a book club, in 1997 in Washington, D.C. I am in Berlin, Germany now, but the Washington group and its Berlin sister chapter are going strong. I also enjoy live music, all kinds of cuisines and a fairly active social life (for which I am most grateful to my wonderful book group for introducing such great people into my life).
